We seem to have a plethora of inattentive drivers around Atlanta that don’t mind holding up 2 or more lanes of traffic because they suddenly decided to turn right from the left lane. As I often find myself an unwilling participant in the ensuing backlog of vehicles, there arises a pressing need to navigate around, through, or over, my ensuing negative thoughts before they impact more than just my driving attitude. To quote a friend,
“I am watching many of my thoughts as they unfold and they are often unforgiving, petty, judgmental and unkind.”
Yesterday, I discovered the spiritual answer to staying calm and giving others space on the road. I left early for everything I did. (I wish I had thought of it sooner )
