Be-ing

Sometimes you have to let the dust settle.
It takes down-time
to be productive,
to adapt,
to make a difference.
But down-time isn’t necessarily inactive,
it’s a disconnect from busy.

Busy doesn’t mean productive
it means – busy.
Please realize
there is no real multitasking,
just small segmented contiguous sections of busy.

Take a moment,
a small break from busy and expectations of busy-ness.
Make a small change in location if necessary.

Slow

“Sometimes it takes downtime”

your

breathing.

Chill for a moment.
Take inventory of your thoughts and
observe what you are thinking.
See the implied motives and imagined consequences,
and where necessary
make adjustments.
Let it sink in.
Let the busy-ness dissolve.
Step into the new
and adjust your be-ing.
